Labour recovery continues in new poll

The latest Maurice de Hond opinion poll shows the Labour party is continuing to recover support and is now four seats clear of the anti-immigration PVV.

The poll, published on Sunday, puts Labour under new leader Diederick Samsom on 23 seats, two up on last week but still seven below its general election total.
Geert Wilders’ PVV fell two seats and is now on 19, its lowest total since the July 2010 vote.
Labour’s nine-seat recovery over the past seven weeks has also been marked by a four-seat drop for the Socialist party, which is now on 29, the De Hond poll showed.
Prime minister Mark Rutte’s VVD is still the biggest party in the De Hond poll with 32 seats, one up on last week and its 2010 election total.
