Heineken boosts revenue but not in Europe

Brewing group Heineken said on Wednesday it had booked organic revenue growth of 6.8% over the first three months of this year. Net profit for the first quarter was €175m,


The increase reflected volume growth of 3.5% and an increase in the hectoliter price of 3.3%. Growth was strongest in Africa and the Middle East.
The growth was achieved in all regions except western Europe, the company said in a trading update.
