Belgians find Máxima photogenic but artificial

Princess Máxima is the most photogenic of the European princesses, according to a poll conducted by the Belgian tv programme Royalty.

'Máxima knows exactly where the cameras are and which is her best profile,' explained presenter Kathy Pauwels during the programme.

However, many viewers also think Máxima is too artificial. 'She cries in the morning at the service for the victims of the bus crash in Switzerland, and laughs happily at a tree-planting ceremony in the afternoon,' says Pauwels.

The Belgian princess Mathilde, wife of prince Filip, was voted most professional European princess, and the English princess Kate, wife of prince William, was most glamorous.

c'mon i guess princess maxima is justdemonstrative when it comes to her feelings..n shes latina,passionate,fiery..n shes a smart lady too..

Crying at a morning service, then laughing at a tree-plating ceremony does not sound "artificial" to me. It sounds sincere. Crown Princess Maxima is beautiful, as is Mary of Denmark, and Mathilde of Belgium.

I disagree that Crown Princess Maxima is "artificial", she is a strong minded, passionate and caring person.
