Prince Friso moved to Wellington private hospital in London

Prince Friso, in a coma since a skiing accident two weeks ago, was moved to the Wellington private hospital in London on Thursday, the state information service RVD confirmed.

The royal family opted for the Wellington on the advice of experts. ‘Prince Friso can be optimally cared for there,’ the RVD said.
London is also the best location from Friso’s daughters’ perspective, the RVD said. The prince, his wife Mabel and two daughters live in the British capital.
The RVD renewed appeals for the royal family’s privacy to be respected.
The prince, queen Beatrix’ second son, was trapped under the snow for at least 25 minutes after an avalanche while out skiing off piste.
