Ajax beat PSV as title race heats up
Ajax beat PSV 2-0 on Sunday in a crucial premier division match, potentially ending the Eindhoven side’s hope of the championship in what was the Amsterdam club’s seventh league win in a row.
The Amsterdam side remain one point behind premier division leaders AZ of Alkmaar who booked a narrow 1-0 victory over RKC Waalwijk on Saturday.
Twente lost its grip on the leaders with a 1-1 draw against ADO Den Haag and is now three points behind Ajax on 52 points.
PSV, Heereneveen and Feyenoord are all level on 51 points.
