Three out of four Dutch clubs move into Europa League next round

Three of the four Dutch football clubs taking part in the Europa league competition move on to the round of 16 on March 8. Ajax, despite beating Manchester United 1-2, is out, following the English club’s 0-2 victory in the first leg.
PSV Eindhoven, AZ of Alkmaar and FC Twente all move on. PSV beat Trabzonspor by a convincing 4-1. AZ and Twente both had 1-0 victories, over Anderlecht and Steaua Bucharest respectively.
AZ will now face Italian side Udinese, PSV will tackle Spanish side Valencia and FC Twente takes on Germany’s Schalke 04.
