The big freeze drives up gas use

Thursday 02 February 2012

Some 519 million cubic metres of gas were pumped through the Netherlands' pipelines on Tuesday, a 15-year high, natural gas company Gasunie said on Thursday.

The absolute record remains the 567 million cubic metres of gas used on January 2, 1997, two days before the last Elfstedentocht, the 11-city skating race.

Shhhh! or they'll raise the price again!!

Am I allowed to use a wood burning stove in a block of flats?

Seriously, surely this report cannot be a surprise, all things considered, well?
