No evidence of fraud with degrees at Amsterdam's hbo college
Monday 06 February 2012
There is no evidence that degrees have been wrongly awarded to students at Amsterdam's hbo college, education ministry inspectors said on Monday.
In December, the Telegraaf said degrees awarded to 15,000 students at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam may have been influenced by years of intimidation, mismanagement and other problems.
The problems focused on the biggest faculty - Economics and Management.
While giving the college an overall clean bill of health, the inspectors did say the quality of two courses - Trade Management Asia and International Management - needed attention and face further investigation.
Earlier last year, a number of similar problems emerged at the InHolland hbo college group.

Always easier to avoid finding the evidence to protect a few in charge. Not to mention the reputation of the university should the allegations be true if any evidence is produced. A single lie destroys a whole reputation for integrity
