Amsterdam is taking extra safety measures for the Europa League duel between Ajax and Manchester United on Thursday.

According to the council, 2,500 Manchester United ticket-holders and between 1,000 and 2,500 supporters without tickets are expected in the city.
Before, during and after the match, there will be a ‘safety risk area’ around the ground at the Arena where police will stop and search for weapons.
