Amsterdam council backs 24/7 shopping

A majority of Amsterdam city councillors have backed calls to designate some shopping areas in the city 24-hour opening times.

‘The competition between European cities is tough and Amsterdam must be as attractive as possible for companies, expats, tourists and, of course, locals themselves.’
