Two farming brothers aged 58 and 60 were killed by a bull in a barn at their farm in Hengelo on Monday evening, the Telegraaf reports.

The farmers were trying to remove a new-born calf from its mother when the bull broke through a fence and attacked them, the paper said. The bodies were found by the wife of one of the men, but despite efforts by ambulance staff to save them, they died at the scene.
The Telegraaf says the bull will be put down.
