AZ fails to capitalise on its lead
Premier league leader AZ of Alkmaar failed to extend its lead on Wednesday night following a 0-0 draw against Excelsior.
The match had been abandoned last month because of heavy fog.
The result means AZ now has 35 points from 15 matches, four more than number two, PSV Eindhoven and five up on third placed FC Twente.
