Ayaan Hirsi Ali gives birth to baby boy

Friday 30 December 2011

Dutch-Somali anti-Islam campaigner Ayaan Hirsi Ali has given birth to a baby boy at the age of 42, the Volkskrant reports on Friday.

Hirsi Ali, a former Dutch MP, married Scottish historian Niall Ferguson earlier this year.

Ferguson left his wife of 17 years and three children for Ali, after they met at a party in 2009.

Hirsi Ali now works for a conservative think-tank in the US.

Lets hope he grows up being tolerant and is not influenced to much by his mother's hatred for all things Islam.

@jason- I suggest you read her book
"Infidel" and make up your own mind about her after sampling her thoughts.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali opposes the reactionary, fascist and backward elements contained in Islam- she does not hate Muslims.
Too many people, like Jason, have good intentions, have their hearts in the right place, and they honestly value the idea of multi-culturalism, but it gets to the point where they're unwilling to call a spade a spade, unwilling to recognise the intolerance coming from the reactionary Muslims who would like to impose Sharia on everyone else. Ayaan opposes this religious attack on universal human rights and the universal values of the enlightenment.

If Ali actually fought for the rights and freedoms of women like her, I'd admire her. Instead, as a VVD politician, she fought to close all the doors behind her that helped her gain her rights and freedoms. Ali fights merely for Ali.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is an opportunist whose views are based on emotional politics rather than reason. She appeals to peoples emotions expressing stereotypical views that are commonly passed on by media. The fact that she lied to get to Netherlands means she can't be trusted. She is a making a good living out of this but she is only fooling herself.

I agree with Paul. Read 'Infidel' and you'll understand. I have a great respect for Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

Just finished reading Nomad and am deeply impressed.
All my congratulations for your baby boy.

she fights for what she believes in. That doesn's make her opportunist. She's a good author and hard working Afrikan woman. I'm proud of her.
