‘RTL also interested in Dutch television giant Endemol’
Broadcasting group RTL is also interested in Dutch television production giant Endemol, the Guardian reports on Wednesday.
The paper says ‘RTL is understood to be interested in a potential deal to buy Endemol, but has not submitted an offer and is not thought likely to until the Big Brother producer resolves its €2.8bn (£2.4bn) debt restructure’.
Last week, Time Warner made a €1bn takeover offer for Endemol. However, according to the Financial Times on Wednesday, Endemol is not up for sale and is poised to rebuff Time Warner’s advances.
