MPs call for new house price probe
MPs have called for a far-reaching investigation into the price of new houses in the Netherlands, following concerns that they have become unnecessarily high.
In 2003, the average cost of a new home was €230,000 and that has now gone up by €100,000, MPs say.
They want an investigation into the way the price of new homes is calculated because of fears prices have been driven up artificially.
