Amsterdam in top 5 European business cities

Amsterdam has climbed two places in the latest Cushman & Wakefield European Cities Monitor and is now in fourth place, news agency ANP said on Wednesday.

The ranking, based on the experiences of managers at Europe’s 500 biggest firms, is based on 12 different factors. Amsterdam scored worse in several sectors than it did last year but has risen in terms of its reputation as a business city, ANP said, without giving details.
London tops the list, followed by Paris and Frankfurt.
Lists
According to a Mercer ranking in July, Amsterdam has fallen from 35th to 50th place in its list of the most expensive cities for expats.
And a German motoring organisation put the capital’s taxi services in 19th out of those in 22 European cities covered.
The Netherlands itself is in 14th place in the World Economic Forum’s ranking of tourist destinations.
