Poor report for cabinet from employers

Employers have given the cabinet an average score of 5.8 out of 10 for its performance so far, according to research for the Liberal democratic party D66.

In particular, employers do not think the government has done enough to reform redundancy law and solve the problems surrounding labour migration.
And just 3% of the 774 employers polled said they are happy with the way the national and local government put projects out to tender.
‘Local councils invite companies to tender for, say, cleaning or the security at all their schools in one go,’ MP Kees Verhoeven told the Telegraaf. ‘This rules out a start-up getting involved.’
