The Netherlands' oldest resident dies at 109Friday 12 August 2011 The Netherlands' oldest resident has died in a care home in Leeuwarden at the age of 109. Geertruida Draaisma was born in the Frisian pottery town of Makkum in February 1902 and moved to the care home 15 years ago.
