Ordina books improvements in turnover and profit

Computer software company Ordina on Tuesday announced an improvement in net loss and a growth in turnover in the first half of 2011.

Net loss was €7.7m compared with €9.1m in the year-earlier period. Turnover grew 5% to €219m, with an improvement of 16% in operating profit to €8.1m.
The figures confirm the forecast made by the company when it presented its first quarter results.
However, Ordina would not comment on full year results because of the uncertain economic situation in the IT sector.
