Ronald Koeman heads for Feyenoord

Ronald Koeman is set to take over as chief trainer at Rotterdam football club Feyenoord, the AD reports on Tuesday.

Koeman is meeting club officials today to seal the deal, which will see him replacing Mario Been. Been stood down after losing the confidence of most players.
Koeman, 48, was head coach at Alkmaar club AZ until the end of 2009, when he was forced out following a string of disappointing results. He has previously coached Vitesse, Ajax, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven and Valencia.
