Miffy gets her own film
Miffy, the much-loved rabbit created by Dutch illustrator Dick Bruna, is to star in her own film, Warner Bros Nederland announced on Tuesday.
The film, which will have lots of musical numbers, has Miffy and her friends encountering a series of adventures at the zoo.
The film will be made in stop-motion animation and is scheduled for release in January 2013. Miffy is known as Nijntje in the Netherlands.
