Dutch less willing to move to find work

The Dutch are less willing to move abroad or to other parts of the Netherlands to find work than they were three years ago, according to new research from the labour market researcher company Intelligence Group.

In 2007, 44% of the 15,000 people polled were happy to move but by last year, this had gone down by almost a quarter to 34%.
Gelderland remains the most popular province to move to. Zeeland and Flevoland are least popular.
In 2007, 16% were willing to move abroad for work, but this has gone down by almost 40% to just one in 10, the research shows.
Men are more willing to move than women.
