CDA wants weapons licence list checked again for ‘radicals’

The Christian Democratic party has called on the AIVD security service to run a new check on the list of people who have been given gun licences over the past year, to make sure no-one considered to have been ‘radicalised’ appears on it.

The demand follows last week’s shootings in Norway.
The AIVD list is secret and cannot be accessed by the police, although they can ask if a name appears on it.
‘If the same name is on both lists, we have a problem,’ Coskun Cörüz told the Telegraaf.
