Amsterdam ninth most expensive place to park a car in the world

Amsterdam is the ninth most expensive place in the world to park a car for a day in dollar terms, according to the latest Colliers International Parking Rate Survey.

The cost of a day’s parking in the centre of the Dutch capital is put at the equivalent of $57.71 a day. Oslo is the most expensive place to park at $89, followed by Copenhagen at $73, Colliers said.
The Hague was in 13th place on $44.57 while Rotterdam came way down the list with a daily fee of $30.19.
Colliers defines a day’s parking as a ‘full day’ with no impact from early bird restrictions.
(Editors note: Dutch newspaper coverage of this survey uses euros and confuses Europe with the world rankings. Please check the Colliers site for the actual list)
