Vitesse ditches coach Albert Ferrer

Arnhem football club Vitesse is ditching its coach Albert Ferrer, who took over from Theo Bos in November 2010.

The Spaniard, who played for Barcelona under Johan Cruijff, had not had a top coaching job before moving to Vitesse.
Vitesse was bought by Georgian businessman Merab Zjordania in August 2010. He said at the time he wanted to make the club Dutch league champions within three years. Vitesse ended this season in 15th place.
