After soaring temperatures on Monday, it will be even hotter on Tuesday but thunderstorms with giant hail stones are likely in the evening, according to weather forecasters.

Online weather bureau weeronline says winds of up to 75 kph could batter the country on Tuesday night while weerplaza says hail stones could be as big as five cm in diameter.
The sun on Monday reached level eight on the UV level index, meaning people should not spend more than 30 minutes sitting in the direct sunlight.
The weather will remain unsettled for the rest of the week, although Thursday and Friday will be mainly dry, forecasters say.
