The Hague public transport on strike

Wednesday 08 June 2011

Public transport workers in The Hague are on 24-hour strike on Wednesday in protest at government plans to cut spending on buses and trams by €120m.

There are some limited Randstad light rail services from the edge of the city to central station, but no trams and buses.

Amsterdam bus, tram and metro workers were on strike on Tuesday. On Thursday the strike switches to Rotterdam.
