Ryanair criticised for not advertising extra ticket costs

Budget airline Ryanair has been censured by the Dutch advertising standards commission for failing to give complete ticket prices in its advertising, the NRC reports.

The airlines adverts do not include administration costs or extra charges for paying by credit card – costs which are unavoidable and should be registered, the commission said.
The travel agency umbrella group ANVR had asked the commission to look into Ryanair’s advertising.
