Rotterdam is least safe place to live

Rotterdam is again the least safe local authority area in the country, according to the AD’s annual crime monitor.

The crime rate is going down in the port city, but not as quickly as in other places, the paper says. Muggings, armed robbery and physical attacks are the commonest crimes.
Rotterdam has topped the list five times in 10 years. Eindhoven, which headed the list last year, is now in sixth place.
The safest place to live is the village of Littenseradiel in Friesland.
The full ranking and more details will be published on Saturday.
