No more cash for national history museum

There will be no more money for the national history museum next year, junior culture minister Halbe Zijlstra has told the project directors, according to the Volkskrant.

Last year, Zijlstra withdrew funding for a new purpose-built building to house the collection.
The minister is due to outline how he plans to implement €200m in spending cuts on the arts on Friday.
