The names and photographs of six British men wanted in connection with serious crimes in their home country have been added to Amsterdam police’s most wanted website, reports Trouw on Tuesday.

They join the six men put on the list in March 2010, of whom two have since been arrested.
The publication of the photographs is part of a joint British and Dutch police initiative known as Operation Return. Over the past four years 83 British criminals have been detained in the Netherlands, 50 of them in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is attractive to wanted men because English is widely spoken and it is easy to find somewhere to live, the paper says
