Tripoli crash victims remembered

Friends and relatives of the 70 Dutch people killed in a plane crash in Libya exactly one year ago will attend a memorial service in The Hague on Thursday.

Foreign minister Uri Rosenthal is among the speakers, the Volkskrant reports.
The only survivor of the crash, a 10-year-old Dutch boy known as Ruben, will not attend the service in order to keep his identity private.
His parents and brother were among the 103 people killed in the crash. Ruben now lives with his aunt and uncle and their three children.
In an exclusive interview with news agency ANP earlier this week, his aunt Ingrid said the boy has made a speedy recovery, thanks in large part to the good treatment he received in Libya.
