FNV trade union group meets again to solve pension row

Member unions of the FNV trade union federation are meeting again on Friday in an effort to solve their disagreements over pension reform.

On Monday talks broke up after over 10 hours without result.
In particular, the biggest FNV affiliated union Bondgenoten, says the deal worked out earlier with employer organisations does not offer enough security to pensioners about the size of the payout.
The new deal removes the need for pension funds to build up considerable buffers and will allow pensions to fluctuate in line with stock exchange developments.
