The Dutch economy grew 0.9% in the first three months of this year, taking the annual growth rate to 3.2%, the national statistics office CBS said on Friday.

The annual figure is the highest for three years, the CBS said in an economic update.
Exports rose 5.7% in volume terms on an annual basis but almost halved on the previous quarter. The CBS said this is largely due to a drop in transshipments.
Household consumption rose 0.2%, as people bought more new cars and made more visits to cafes and restaurants.
The construction sector also showed spectacular growth of 13%, reversing two years of decline, the CBS said.
