€4.4m in cash seized from drugs baron's family

Police checking out claims a convicted drugs dealer had given a large quantity of cash to family members for safekeeping have found nearly €4.4m in bank notes, much of it hidden in the kitchen of a house in Venlo.
The man, known as Dori X, was jailed for six years in Belgium earlier this year. The money was found in three locations including the home of his parents and his ex wife.
