Thirteen public broadcaster presenters earned more than the prime minister did last year but at least one is taking salary cuts this year, according to new figures from the public broadcaster organisation NPO.

Three public broadcaster managers also earn more than the PM – seen as the standard for public sector salaries.
Top earner is an unnamed Vara presenter who earns €463,541 – likely to be chat show hosts Paul de Leeuw or Matthijs van Nieuwkerk.
