Staffing agency Randstad books 38% in Q1 profit

Staffing firm Randstad, the world’s second-largest, booked net profit up 38% in the first quarter of this year, as companies in the US, France and Germany took on more staff.


Net profit reached €65.8m while revenues rose 22% to €3.7bn.
‘To benefit from the improving market conditions, we will increase our investment in the professionals segment, where we have started a growth accelerator plan,’ said CEO Ben Noteboom in a statement.
