There the police found the body of the young woman, who appeared to have been battered to death with a fire extinguisher. They immediately began a hunt for the suspected killer, who was spotted by another police officer at the town’s station. In the ensuing struggle, the alleged killer got hold of the police officer’s gun and shot him three times in the head. Railway The man then made off along the railway but was shot in the leg by police reinforcements and arrested. The scene has been sealed off and an investigation is under way. © DutchNews.nl
It's really sad to see NL trying so hard to emulate the USA. Not the best example in the world, I think. By Ronen Ben-Hai | April 14, 2011 9:21 AM Are these things really happening in the NL ?? wow... By Indian in Holland | April 14, 2011 10:42 AM The negative developments in the politics, economy affect the society as a whole and trickle down to the individuals gradually, which is resulting in tragedies and incidents, we are watching now. By J.Khan | April 14, 2011 12:13 PM A fire extinguisher? Really? Man. He was sure mad at her. This is really sad. I hate seeing reports like this because it makes NL look more and more like the way it is over here in the US. Trust me when I tell you this: You do NOT want to be like us. You really don't. I pay good money to leave the US and visit someplace where it's nice, like NL. Please hang on to what you've got over there. It's priceless to those of us over here that don't. By The Cat Lady | April 14, 2011 4:39 PM I think it is sad that people think that because what happens elsewhere in the world that the USA should be blamed for those actions. The USA can be blamed for what it is responsible for in the USA; anything outside that is really the responsibilty of folks involved in whatever country they reside. I guess it's easier to lay blame elsewhere. By Lee Strauss | April 15, 2011 10:06 AM I agree with you Lee. Just because NL has an insane wife beating idiot doesn't mean it has anything to do with the insane wife beating idiots the US has. Crazy is Crazy no matter where you are. Accept you have your fair share here in NL and move on. It's immature and pointless to blame anyone or anything other than the man that commited these horrific crimes. By SL | April 20, 2011 12:05 PM
