Nerdy image hurts IT employment
A technical and nerdy image is likely to lead to a 27,000 to 40,000 shortfall in skilled IT workers by 2015, according to a government working party.
The e-skills taskforce was set up in 2009 to analyse the likely shortage of IT staff. Wednesday’s report says the problem is a threat to innovation in the Netherlands.
