Delta Lloyd board gets 50% annual salary bonus

The executive board of insurance group Delta Lloyd has been paid 50% of their annual salary as a bonus over 2010, according to the group’s annual report.


CEO Niek Hoek received a €325,000 cash bonus plus shares to the value of €216,000 and €121,000 towards his pension. In total, Hoek earned over €1.3m last year, up €100,000 on 2009.
Delta Lloyd, which did not receive any aid from the Dutch government to help it through the economic crisis, booked net profit of €621m in 2010.
