Schiphol airport is world’s 15th busiest

Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport is the 15th busiest airport in the world, according to the international airport association ACI.


Last year, some 45.2 million passengers used Schiphol, up 3.8% from 2009 when the airport was 14th in the rankings.
Atlanta airport in the US is the busiest airport in the world, with 89.3 million passengers last year. London’s Heathrow is the busiest European airport.
