Pressure for anonymous transport card for pensioners

The conservative Liberal party VVD and left-wing greens GroenLinks are joining forces to call for a special public transport smart card for the over 65s.

Now, pensioners can only get a discount if they apply for an ov-chipkaart card with their name on it – which requires they hand over personal details.
The MPs say the over-65s should also be able to buy anonymous discount cards on a bus or tram like everyone else.
