Former housing corporation boss fined €3.2m

The former boss of Amsterdam housing corporation De Key has been ordered by a court to pay €3.2m in compensation to his former employer for his role in a corrupt land deal.


De Key bought the land in Zeewolde in 2005 for €25.9m, even though the agent had bought it for €22.6m just two weeks previously. The land agent was a former colleague of the corporation’s director,news agency ANP reports.
