Green bank Triodos net profit rises 20%, sustainable lending 28%
Green bank Triodos booked a 20% increase in net profit last year at €11.5m, while its customer base rose by 43,000 to 285,000.
The bank’s assets under management were up 15% to €5.6bn.
‘Sustainable banking is a powerful answer to the financial crisis,’ the bank said in a statement.
The bank expects continuing growth in 2011 and plans to focus more on sustainable energy projects in Europe.
