Extra parental leave for mothers of incubator babies
Women whose new babies spend more than a week in a hospital incubator are to be guaranteed at least 10 weeks maternity leave once their child returns home, social affairs minister Henk Kamp told RTL news on Wednesday.
The standard Dutch maternity leave is 16 weeks, of which around 10 weeks are usually taken after the birth.
