Queen’s tea light attacker wants royal dna tests

The man who threw a glass tea light holder at the queen’s coach in September, sparking a security scare, wants the courts to order dna tests on a number of members of the royal family, the AD reports.

The man wants to prove that queen Beatrix is not the daughter of Juliana and is therefore not rightfully queen, so he cannot be prosecuted for insulting the monarch, the paper says.
The 29-year-old man also wants to call 125 witnesses, including MPs, members of the royal family and women called Marieke.
The incident took place during the royal procession ahead of the annual budget day ceremony.
