Political party for over 50s would win one seat

The newly-formed political party 50Plus would win one seat if there was a general election tomorrow, according to a new opinion poll from Maurice de Hond.

The party is targeting voters aged over 50 who are concerned about changes to the state pension system and other issues.
It’s leader is Jan Nagel, 71, a former Labour supporter who was also closely involved in the formation of populist parties Leefbaar Nederland and Leefbaar Hilversum.
The party is taking part in the March provincial elections.
Support for other parties in the De Hond poll is more or less unchanged.
