Photographer Evert-Jan Daniels has won this year’s Silver Camera award for a photograph of Mark Rutte flanked by a grinning Geert Wilders and Maxime Verhagen following their decision to form a new cabinet.

‘You can see that the party leaders are keen and that they are in a hurry. Daniels got that at just the right moment,’ the jury of experts said.
The first Silver Camera award was presented in 1949.
