FC Groningen and NAC of Breda have both qualified for the quarter finals of the KNVB cup, after catch-up matches on Tuesday night.

Groningen had great difficulty beating amateur side SC Genemuiden, who took the lead after 22 minutes. The match ended 3-2.
NAC saw off first division side Telstar 1-0 and will meet Ajax in the quarter finals next week.
In the other two round of 16 matches: First division side RKC Waalwijk beat the amateurs Achilles’29 on penalties after a 2-2 final score.
And in the battle of the amateurs, Noordwijk beat Sparta Nijkerk on penalties when the game ended 3-3 after extra time.
The quarter finals take place from January 25.
