Dutch take European short track relay titles
The Dutch short track speed skating teams took both the men and the women’s relay titles at the European championships in Heerenveen.
The Dutch women beat Hungary and Italy to take the 3000 metre relay title – a first for the Netherlands.
In the men’s 5000 metre relay, the Netherlands beat Russia and Britain to take the title.
Dutchman Knegt Sjinkie also took bronze in the 3000 metres and silver in the 1,500 metres.
